BLUEBELL WALK CHALLOCK

We RV'd @ Chilham Village car park, there had been a frost at 06:00 a bit surprising, but the sun was out when we started off.We took our usual route along the North Downs Way along the fringe of the Kings Wood to the western end and then doubled back through masses of bluebells. We saw some deer, lots of wood ants nests and a sparrowhawk. On our way back we deviated towards Godmersham Hall and went to the bottom of the ridge and then back to Mountain Street.
We did,of course, have a scout around for the English WW2 resistance headquaters bunker, but understand that it was demolished at war's end.
about 9 to 10 miles and 6 of us .It became quite hot at the end of the walk.
All hi res pix-help yourself.
