ROUGH COMMON CANTERBURY
Rough Common east of the City of Canterbury, dates back to Roman times and is mostly flat(good)with excellent paths and a nice mixture of trees that are well looked after.Parking is good, and we met a few volunteer loggers who were taking out birch trees to give the others a chance.
Weather was CAVOK a window of blue skies in a week of rain.
Failed to get lost today, good prep with maps and satellite pictures helped.
A walk that we will return to ,possibly when the snow lay on the ground.
5 of us 5.5 miles sunny
