FAVERSHAM CREEK

Yours for £6,250,they say there are 2 good days when you own a boat, the day you buy and the day you sell.

Thats harty over there,we were there last week.

The big tug is from Newhaven Harbour

A nice sunny morning for once, not too cold.We set off from Sittingbourne by train(new HST Javelin)and arrived at Faversham 12 minutes later and then dived in a cafe for a cup of char.Up through Davington and Oare and then on to the Saxon Shore Way clockwise around the creek.Lots of sea birds and muddy footpaths. We stopped for coffee halfway and then completed the walk into the town and had a bag of chips on the way back to the station where I had arranged for a train to be waiting for us.4 of us travelled return for £2.10 each!on a group ticket. Here is the map and our pictures
5+1+1=7 miles sunny coldish 4 chaps.
