Boughton under Blean

Starting from Boughton Hill ,we dived into Christ Church graveyard for a quick snoop around ,looking for a particular family name on gravestones(no luck)Several war graves of interest.I understand that the church has been sold off.We crossed over the A2 which is being repaired as it is subsiding on both sides and heavy metal
reinforcing is being fitted to the banks. In to the Clay Pit Woods and a brief look at the Bofors Tower which is a WW2 artifact which appears to be a dwelling house now.Crossing Dawes rd,and up red Road into the woods again..Coming out into Dargate and on to the roads and towards Hernehill where we stopped by the church to have our coffee break.Up through Mount Ephraim and then back to Dunkirk Village and to the cars

5.5 miles 6 chaps misty coldish,damp(no sun)
