Oldest lving thing in Kent? East Sutton

This Yew Tree is at least 2,000 years old and possibly 2,400.

The Yew has a companion ,almost as old

The faint blur is thousands of Prunus Penny trees

Sutton Valence Castle a well-kept secret

Vernacular Architecture with roses

A rainy ,misty day with a trunk road hiatus, and muddy underfoot which induces fatigue.Mostly along the paths to Allsaints Church
where the ancient Yew lives and has done since 400BC.
Back along the lower slope in the clay mud to the village.
Mild,wet,muddy 5 miles 4 chaps
