A group of retired friends,keeping fit by walking at least 7 miles a week,since 2005 over 4,000 miles in all types of weather.
Keeping mostly to Kent footpaths.
Could be tempted. Did a walk out that way last year for Cancer Research. The week after this I will probably be doing the 20 mile NDW walk round Kemsing again for the church roof fund. Glen

I was looking at 8.5 miles as "training" for the week after :-)Had my first encounter yesterday with a "get orf my land" farmer type. Had full blown rant about ramblers not sticking to the footpath and didn't like it when I pointed out that he had removed the footpath signs, ploughed over it and let the hedge grow over the style so you couldn't see it! I can see an e-mail to KCC coming on later....Glen
Hi Glen We had just one, in 300 odd walks,there was some serious ploughing ,so we went around the outside of the field,and some snotty young gamekeeper didn't stand a chance against myverbal manoeverings.They are generally very co operative.gp
