Hucking

this is one of our fall back walks that we do when we get a bit stuck for thinking where to walk
Six of us met up this week at the Hucking Country Park on a rather cold and overcast day . The ground was very muddy but to be expected after the recent rain . With no plan or route in mind we simply wandered here there and everywhere enjoying the views and company Nothing exciting to report just a 5.5 mile stroll . Sorry photos not much but with the very overcast weather there was not that much scope for good photographs
Gives you an idea of what it was like underfoot

Hook and Hatchet pub now closed

Wood carvings of wild boar

Has anyone any idea what the pens are for . There are no openings or anything planted in them
