Herne Bay-Tankerton

it seems that in 2016 we have missed more walks than we have actually undertaken due to one reason or the other . This week was an exception in that the weather lady said it was going to stay dry for a change . As it was only 4 of us were available but we met up at Hampton Pier Herne Bay and the sun was shining . Due to the fact that one of the group was suffering from a injury we thought that a simple very slow stroll west was the order of the day . This is what we did simply strolled along the sea front to Tankerton where we forced ourselves to have a bite to eat and cuppa . Leaving the cafĂ© we made straight for the ice cream shop where we sat and enjoyed the day , and the ice creams . Eventually we left the comfort of the ice cream shop and wandered very slowly back to Hampton Pier . A very hot but enjoyable stroll of just over 6 miles
