Hampton to Whitstable

I would like to mention to friends and relatives living in Australia and New Zealand that today the sun was out and a lovely 15C so much so that it was coats off from the start . Just 5 of us met at the car park by Hampton Pier , Herne Bay then took a slow stroll along the sea front to Whitstable , past the harbour to a sea front tea stop . Here we all enjoyed a well earned drink and doughnut . Then simply retraced our steps and back to the cars where before leaving we all enjoyed a very large piece of jam sponge made by the lovely wife of one of the walkers Sorry if photos are grainy but had the ISO turned up a bit too high and these are put here at low resolution
