as you may have notice there has been no walking blogs lately , that is although some walks took place I missed them therefore no photos or blog
As I have had an e mail from the lovely Wendy from the land down under mentioning this fact I thought I would add the following although not part of the Happy Wanderers walk
Two of us have been doing family research for some time now and lately looking into the life and death of a distant relative who died in WW1 . We found out he died on 7th June 1917 so made it our mission to place a wreath on his grave on the 100th anniversary of his death which we did  On the same day we also went to the area where he died and was buried , under a hedge, from 1917 until he was moved to present location in 1919
